A concert at sunset at St. Francis Lutheran Church introduces the new Hildegyrlz von SF, the first Hildegyrlz in existence, presenting a Lenten Reflection Concert on the Wisdom of Three: one flies on high, another labors above the earth, and the third hovers everywhere. (An excerpt from O Virtus Sapientiae by Hildegard von Bingen, c. 1098-1179)Hildegyrlz von SF specializes in pure-toned chanting singing reflective music from the medieval era to the new will perform glorious chants by Hildegard von Bingen, motets by Palestrina, and a lovely reflective piece by Rutter arranged for three voices; blended with doses of introspective organ improvisations and readings. Special guests include organist, Dr. David Schofield and reader, Aline Soules.
