Description
San Francisco outfit Lemon Party have lots of raw grooves and hyper punk energy, but its peppered with a spastic, neurotic indie rock vibe, so the songs end up sounding more like eruptions of internal turmoil than outward aggression. It's reminiscent of classic indie rock bands such as Sebedoh that make audience feel like they are all alone with the band rather than part of movement. The album cover for Lemon Party's new 7", "Mannish Water," has a simple child-like drawing which is both fun and an expression of the frantic id.
