Left Bank Brasserie in San Jose to Celebrate La Fête du Cochon June 11 to June 14Left Bank Brasserie in San Jose's Santana Row will be celebrating La Fête du Cochon from Wednesday, June 11 through Saturday, June 14. La Fête du Cochon is a traditional festival held in France which honors the many classic dishes prepared using pig including charcuterie, roasts and sausages. In addition to their regular menu, Left Bank will feature lunch and dinner a la carte specials in the spirit of the occasion.
The specials will be sautéed sliced tripe sausage and young dandelion greens with cider vinegar, garlic and honey vinaigrette ($9.50); baby spinach salad with julienned warm crispy pig ear, red bell pepper, cilantro and ginger raspberry vinaigrette ($8.50); country style ham and Jambon de Paris quiche with onions, Gruyère, and roasted walnuts served with organic mixed greens salad with Cognac vinaigrette ($14.75); pork confit cooked in duck fat with spring vegetables, roasted almond and mint pistou ($22.50); and banana walnut ice cream with crème Chantilly, warm chocolate sauce, peanut and crispy bacon brittle ($8.50).
