Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur, California will host a Fava Bean Shelling Party on Thursday, May 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $20.00 each or two for $35.00.Guests will be able to learn about fava beans, while shelling them, from farmer Peter Martinelli of Fresh Run Farm. Left Bank Chef de Cuisine Fabrice Marcon will present some of his favorite bean recipes and offer a dish to taste. Participants will also be able to enjoy all you can drink wine during the event and take home a bag of freshly shelled favas.
