 How to Increase Your Appreciation of Art

Do you want to get more out of your visits to museums and galleries? If so, this series is for you. Brigid Barton, is professor emerita of art history at Santa Clara University will provide three lively lectures on art appreciation, media and techniques. A complementary hands-on art workshop focused on composition and art materials by Cubberley Resident Artist Julia Nelson-Gal will follow. Together, these sessions will give you basic instruction about art and art techniques which will offer both beginners and veterans new inspiration to experience the world of art. All are welcome!
