Club Fox brings a trio of local, Latin-rock fusion bands to Redwood City for a pre-holiday party. The bands, Puro Bandido, Gunn Slingers and Mingo Lewis' Room of Voices, each bring something unique to Latin music. Puro Bandido hails from San Francisco's Mission District. They pride themselves in making old school '70s-style Latin rock & roll (a la Santana) with searing vocals and a large, pervasive percussion section. Gunn Slingers mix elements of country, jazz, Latin music, rock, with four shredding guitarists sharing the stage. Room of Voices covers the full spectrum of genres with a combination of psychedelic, funk and dubstep, not to mention a light show to get the dance floor bumping.
