Description
The Kuumbwa Jazz Center is proud to present a concert with La Voz de Tres, a New York-based Latin jazz trio. La Voz de Trez seamlessly blends the infectious rhythms and songwriting traditions of Brazil, Chile, Cuba and other Latin American countries with the spontaneous and improvisation of jazz. The group consists of Chilean vocalist Natalia Bernal, keyboardist Mike Eckroth, and guitarist Jason Ennis. They play bossa-novas, boleros, tangos, and Andean folk tunes but with a more contemporary twist, in addition to jazz standards and original tunes. Admission is $18 in advance, $21 at the door.
