Description
La Sardina de Naiguata is one of the most representative groups of music from the coast of Venezuela. Their work is an emblematic representation of the musical traditions of the Venezuelan Carnaval, Christmas, Easter and "The Burial of the Sardine.” Opening the program is Rumbaché. They fuse salsa, timba, bomba and funk. Sponsored by Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Chevron, as part of the Venezuelan Sounds Music Series.The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival presents over 90 free events including music, theater, circus, dance, poetry and children’s programs with artists from Africa, Colombia, Japan, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Spain, the Philippines, Sweden, China, Venezuela and the Bay Area. Yerba Buena Gardens is located between Mission Street and Howard Street and 3rd and 4th Streets in downtown San Francisco.
