Description
In September MACLA celebrates 20 years of innovative Latino arts and culture with La Reconquista, new work by Einar and Jamex de la Torre. From the Aztecs and Spaniards to the prevalence of dollar stores and Mexican food, this new mixed media installation simultaneously explores historical and contemporary ideas of conquest.The artists will talk at MACLA Thursday, Oct. 15.
