Description

Beto Cuevas, Pedro Mauricio Claveria and Frugone are not new names for music fans: the story of the power-trio formed in a way the "soundtrack" of the lives of millions of boys and girls who grew up listening to songs on the radio at full volume. It is impossible to think of rock in Latin America without devoting one of the greatest chapters to LA LEY. Since its formation in Chile in 1987, the band revolutionized the structured concepts of the southern country rock scene and moved faster, creating a distinctive and melodious musical language and strong aesthetics – today, unmistakable stamps of the group's performance.

After two decades, 10 albums, and dozens of awards – including one Grammy Award® (Uno, 2000, Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album) and two Latin Grammy Awards® (Libertad, 2004 Best Rock Album / MTV Unplugged, 2002 Best Rock Album) – today LA LEY is one of the pillars of pop-rock in Spanish. Each new album, every theme, every video, reflects the growth of a band that dodged borders with intelligence and art, who conquered stages in Latin America and the United States, and garnered recognition from their followers, peers, critics and industry.
