Description
Sunnyvale Theatre presents the well-respected young klezmer band Kugelplex, performing festive Old World music. Expect a few modern surprises, too, as this group has wowed critics and won fans for its past performances of Handel’s Messiah, klezmer-style, and last year’s Hanukkah hit song, “Rudolph’s Mitzvah.”This performance is part of Sunnyvale’s 2008-09 Evenings of Cultural Arts Series. Others this season are: San Jose Taiko (January 10, 2009), The Canote Brothers (February 14, 2009), Patrick Ball (March 21, 2009) and Peppino D’Agostino (April 4, 2009).
