On January 17, 1938, Bennie Goodman gave the first jazz concert at Carnegie Hall, and is credited with giving the genre legitimacy. On January 17, 2014, The Klipptones sing, sing, sing, and swing, swing, swing the Palace Hotel in honor of our legitimate roots!The Klipptones specialize in Sinatra-era classics mashed up with Billboard topping pop. They play the Palace Hotel EVERY Friday, 8pm-midnight. 2 New Montgomery near Montgomery BART. No cover; $10 min on food and/or bev requested.
