Chamber Music San Francisco presents the San Francisco recital debut of Khatia Buniatishvili. Since she gave her debut concert at age six with the Tibilisi Chamber Orchestra, Ms. Buniatishvili has subsequently been invited to give guest performances in Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Russia, Israel, and the United States.Ms. Buniatishvili won the 2008 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, was distinguished as a BBC New Generation Artist in 2009, and was nominated for the Vienna Musikverein’s European “Rising Star” award. Now appearing with many of the world’s finest orchestras, she is known for her breathtaking virtuosity, mesmerizing stage presence, and musical depth, which have transfixed international concert audiences.
