Come on down to the Kuumbwa Jazz Center as they welcome the Kat Parra Latin/World Ensemble for "Las Aventuras de Pasión!" Kat Parra is an acclaimed vocalist whose music delves into a world of sound, with excursions into Middle-Eastern, Afro-Peruvian and Sephardic styles. She also has the ability to sing fluently in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Ladino, enabling her to take on a variety of musical genres. She will be joined by world-class musicians Murray Low on keyboards, Masaru Koga on woodwinds and percussion, Chris Lopes on bass, Katja Cooper on percussion, and Dan Foltz on drums.
