Description
The more we practice ethics, the better we can understand and apply the Buddha's teachings. Understanding ethics depends on our understanding of karma. The Buddhas teachings on karma provide the foundation for Buddhist ethics. The first two classes expand our understanding of karma; that is is more than "what comes around goes around". The second two classes are on Buddhist ethics. The Buddha said that happiness comes from practicing good ethics. These classes are taught by Tubten Pende (James Dougherty). He was the coordinator of the Geshe Studies Program at Manjushri Institute. He currently works in the field of western education and and brings his vast experience, knowledge and sense of humor to everything he teachesSuggested donation of 10 dollars per class but no one turned away due to lack of funds
