West Valley College will be holding their annual spring fashion show Thursday, May 3 in the West Valley College Theatre at 14000 Fruitvale Avenue in Saratoga. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the show starting at 7:00 PM.A kaleidoscope is an optical instrument that the viewer peers into to see colorful patterns created from the mirror’s many reflections. Fashion designers are individuals that look into the same world, yet share their own unique interpretation of that world. They are a constant changing set of colorful personalities, continually creating different visions and fabricating it into reality with their designs. Become the viewer that looks into our designers’ kaleidoscopes and be a part of a secret world. “Kaleidoscope” will showcase eleven prospective fashion designers from West Valley College’s fashion program and will include vendors and a raffle after the show. A portion of the show proceeds will go towards the college’s fashion program that has received numerous budget cuts from the state. As the only fashion school in San Jose that provides an affordable learning experience for students, it is with great urgency to help keep their program alive and available for future generations.
Discounted tickets to are available online for $10 and will be $15 at the door the day of the show.
