San Francisco's 8th annual Joy of Sake celebration returns on September 9th to Yoshi's Jazz Club and Japanese Restaurant in the Fillmore District.This year's event presents 178 daiginjo, ginjo and junmai labels, and features gold and silver award winners from the 2010 U.S. National Sake Appraisal. This is a once-a-year chance to taste the world's finest sakes in peak condition.
To complement the sakes, Yoshi's Executive Chef Sho Kamio will provide appetizers including soft shell crab nuggets, kimchee asparagus, Japanese pizza and a tuna carving station.
Tickets:
Tickets are $65 per person, with sales and sponsorships supporting the efforts of The Joy of Sake, a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster appreciation for the traditional art of sake-brewing.
