Termite Parade

published by 2 Dollar Radio

Termite Parade is the second novel from San Francisco Chronicle best-selling author Joshua Mohr. It explores how three friends cope with a violent incident. Mohr examines how we love one another; whether individuals are capable of change or whether we simply are who we are; and how capable we are, despite our intelligence, to fall prey to powerful passions.

Joshua Mohr's work has been published in Other Voices, The Cimarron Review, Pleiades, and Gulf Coast, among others. He is the author of Some Things That Meant the World to Me, is a regular contributor to TheRumpus.net, and teaches writing in San Francisco. He also sings in the band Damn Handsome & The Birthday Suits.

"Mohr's prose roams with chimerical liquidity."—Boston's Weekly Dig

"Mohr uses punchy, tightly wound prose to pull readers into a nightmarish landscape, but he never loses the heart of his story; it's as touching as it is shocking."—Publishers Weekly, starred review for Some Things That Meant the World to Me

"Joshua Mohr's Termite Parade takes the reader to precincts of the human psyche that even Celine would have thought twice about visiting. This is bold, chilling stuff. Hubert Selby, Jr. would have been proud." -John Wray
