Description
Bay Area percussionist Josh Jones and his Latin Jazz Ensemble will pay tribute to one of the most famous and beloved percussionists in the history of Latin jazz, Ray Barretto. The program features Carlos Rosario on vocals, Edgardo Cambón on vocals/congas, Chloe Scott on flute), Marty Wehner on trombone, Patrick Morehead on piano, Steve Hogan on bass and leader/drummer Josh Jones, who has been an integral force in the local music scene since the early nineties.The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival presents over 90 free events including music, theater, circus, dance, poetry and children’s programs with artists from Africa, Colombia, Japan, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Spain, the Philippines, Sweden, China, Venezuela and the Bay Area. Yerba Buena Gardens is located between Mission Street and Howard Street and 3rd and 4th Streets in downtown San Francisco.
