Description
Club owner Johnny Van Wyk has been obsessed with this St. Paddy's Day show; in fact, he's literally been planning it all year. In the end, he rounded up nearly a dozen of the South Bay's best-known underground bands to play, including NME, Late Night District, Them Rude Boys, Vie Victus, Talky Tina and headliner Usurper Vong. Perhaps the biggest news is that'll be only the second show by Ray Frankly, which is the new side project from Rivals' vocalist Matt Reed. Something called the Green Beef Curtains opens the bill at 12:25. Be very afraid, but strangely intrigued. - Steve Palopoli sanjose.com
