Quick description of Johnny Render: Render is a longtime L.A.-based musician and "entertainer" who released his debut LP Rendervoux "anonymously" 1/1/12 on the “anonymous” Renderville Records label (Render’s identity is currently “unknown”). After making a sudden splash on L.A.’s taste-making radio stations KCRW and KXLU, critics and journalists have chimed in, declaring Render’s music “both mature and childlike at the same time,” ”Ramones meets The Carpenters,” and “short-attention-span audio theater.”

The Johnny Render Band’s first-ever SF show will also feature local goth-pop legends The Ian Fays (www.theianfays.net or http://www.theianfays.com), organizers of this one-off show. Flanahan’s is a very small venue, and this is an early show, so audience members are encouraged to get there ON TIME (if not before)!
