Come on down to Don Quixote's International Music Hall for an evening of high-energy bluegrass music with Johnny Campbell & The Bluegrass Drifters and Damdave & The Hot Damn Band. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Johnny Campbell is a third generation fiddler who was influenced by Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Jim & Jesse & the Virginia Boys, and the Stanley Brothers. After 35 years of performing as a sideman, Johnny put together some of his favorite Bay Area bluegrass musicians to form The Bluegrass Drifters. Rounding out the show is Damdave and the Hot Damn Band who whip up music that blends dysfunctional bluegrass, uptempo ballads and humorous soul that is sure to get the crowd moving!
