Touring nationally for a quarter of a century alongside some heavyweight musicians, Joanne Rand is currently completing her thirteenth CD. Writing and playing music since childhood in the Deep South, Rand cut her performance teeth playing bluegrass in Alaska. A North Bay Bohemian readers’ poll voted her “Best Acoustic Band,” and calls Rand a “legendary…longtime local hero.” “Nothing short of brilliant.” -Santa Rosa PD. In the 1990s Rand also lived in Seattle where she helped anchor the city’s thriving music scene and collaborated with her songwriter brother, as he died of AIDS. She now resides in Arcata, CA, where she’s raising her daughter, teaching music, filmscoring and touring. JoanneRandMusic.com
Diane Patterson writes, sings, and carries her Funky Earth Ballads and Sacred Songs for the Peaceful Revolution with acoustic guitar, ukulele and voice. Patterson weaves spirit and unifying social commentary around the world, on festival stages, at folk music and conscious music gatherings, healing gatherings and in concert venues of Southern Oregon and Northern California, in Hawaii every winter for six years, in Europe summers of 2008, 2011, and 2013, and coming December 21-23, 2012 in Mexico for Synthesis Festival. Diane plays and collaborates with a number of artists working towards a more sustainable future, through the celebration of Abundance by Design. Currently she is on fall 2012 tour in Oregon and Northern California. dianepatterson.org
Diane is based out of Northern California, is independent and supported by her community.
SaraTone has been singing from her Heart for as long as she can remember. Growing up in Seattle area listening to the likes of Whitney Houston, Sara found strength and encouragement in school choir, eventually studying jazz then moving into the study of North Indian Raga. Guitar, Bass and Hand Percussion came later opening many paths exploring varieties of rich cultural music from around the world. As a multi instrumentalist, she enjoys empowering people to play and sing the multi part song she hears. saratonehome.org
