Description
The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is a professional big band produced by Jazz at Lincoln Center, a major performing arts institution structured as a non-profit organization. Wynton Marsalis, in addition to his role as the Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center, is also a renowned trumpeter, composer, teacher, and music educator. He has won nine Grammy Award in both the classical and jazz genres, and a jazz recording of his was the first of its kind to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music.
