Description
Born into an extremely musical family, Jacam Manricks honed his ear listening to jazz and classical concerts from his parents. He took off with music lessons at age 5, and finished his education at the Manhattan School of Music in 2007.As a saxophonist and woodwind player, Jacam has performed and/or recorded with some of the most prestigious international artists of our time, found at venues like the Jazz Standard, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and others. He has recorded four albums to date; his most recent being Could Nine from 2012, and spends time composing works for different ensembles worldwide.
