About
An isothermal titration calorimetry instrument is consisted of two lollipop-shaped identical cells which are composed of a highly efficient thermal conducting material (hasteloy or gold) surrounded by an adiabatic jacket. In the ITC experiment, the reference cell only contains buffer such as water and the buffer plus macromolecule is placed in the sample cell.
