PRODUCER: Sonoma State University Departments of Music and Theatre Arts & Dance present

WHAT: "Island Passions: Two One-Act Operas"

Sonoma State University Departments of Music and Theatre Arts & Dance presents "Island Passions: Two One-Act Operas" from Feb.7 to Feb. 17, 2013. This double bill of comedy and tragedy features Joseph Haydn's "The Deserted Island (L' Isola Disabitata)" and "Riders to the Sea," by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Both operas feature talented student vocalists and a full orchestra of musicians performing.
Musical direction by Lynne Morrow and stage direction by Danielle Cain.

7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7; Friday, Feb. 8; Saturday, Feb. 9; Thursday, Feb. 14 (Faculty/Staff Night); and Friday, Feb. 15
5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 (Followed by post-show discussion)
1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 (Student Matinee / Piano accompaniment only)
2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 and Sunday, Feb. 17

Evert B. Person Theatre is accessed through the main entrance to Sonoma State University. Tickets also sold at the door one hour prior to curtain.

PARKING: After entering the main entrance of Sonoma State University, turn right. Use Parking Lot E or Parking Lot F. Parking permits are required at all times. Permits may be purchased from the vending machines located at the entrance to parking lots. The fee is $5. Use ramp to the left of Parking Lot E to
access the main entrance of Evert B. Person Theatre.
