Description
A public reading by emerging writers in a unique literary workshop with two of SF’s oldest interdisciplinary arts organizations, the IWL thoroughly explores and develops participants’ writing skills and styles. Twelve selected students will participate in workshops led by accomplished writers and artists Jewelle Gomez and Truong Tran, attend special exhibitions and performances, have the opportunity to perform/read work at a public event, and be published in online anthology.Featuring: Elizabeth Star Bilyck, Drea Brown, Richard Kevin Cartwright IV, Mai Doan, Victoria Gannon, Betty Johnson, Carolyn Kameya, Kenji Liu, Carrie Leilam Love, Karim Scarlata, Vidhu Singh, and Colette Winlock.
