Informational evenings and sign-ups for Scotts Valley Performing Arts Youth Shakespeare program will be offered on Wednesday, March 7th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 13, from 7 PM. to 8 PM at St. Philips Episcopal Church in Scotts Valley. Parents and young actors interested in performing in this year's Youth Shakespeare season should plan to attend one of these meetings. The program is for actors from 5 years - 18 years, with a few parts awarded to adults. Interested families can learn about the program, including fees, workshops, instruction, rehearsal requirements, and performances at one of these meetings. The 2012 season will open on July 14 - 15 with two premier performances of Mother Goose meets Dr. Seuss and Other Strange Encounters. On July 20 - 22 the Youth Shakespeare troupe will present Shakespeare's classic, Romeo and Juliet.
