Description
The members of bluegrass band the Infamous Stringdusters started as backing musicians for both jam-bands and mainstream country artists like Dolly Parton and LeeAnn Womack before uniting to create their own music. It's lucky they did, as their banjo, bass, fiddle and lap-steel-guitar-laden harmonies bring both expert skill and new ideas to the bluegrass scene. Despite their relatively recent appearance, the Stringdusters are quickly making a name for themselves; their album, Magic #9, garnered at Grammy nod for Best Country Instrumental Performance.
