Description
Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to promoting socioeconomic change in India by raising money to fund education and literacy programs for children in India. We are hosting a ‘Film Festival of Hope’ in San Francisco on June 21st featuring documentary films and photography to raise awareness and money for this cause. These documentaries, including the Oscar winning documentary 'Born Into Brothels,' focus on the plight of underprivileged children in India and draw attention to the need for education. The festival will be held at the Bollyhood Café in San Francisco at 3372 19th Street from 1pm-9pm.
