Untitled gallery PRESENTS:[in]sight
An exhibition of paintings and photoworks by Keira Kotler
This exhibition presents new work by Bay Area artist Keira Kotler. Both a painter and a photo-based artist, Keira’s work consists of minimal light and color abstractions on aluminum and acrylic panels. She explores such themes as time, perception, and sensory memory. Specifically, the exhibition highlights two major bodies of work: Luminas – single and multiple panel installations of one-of-a-kind color-field photo images and Cut Paintings – sculptural monochromatic paintings on acrylic with horizontal line compositions. The exhibition also features her first large scale, multiple panel photowork installation spanning almost 50 square feet of wall space, the latest iteration of her Lumina series.
