Led by artist and founder of art advisory firm, Blue Tangerine Art, Trudy Montgomery provides practical advice to overcome challenges to secure sales, gallery representation and successfully navigate dealer relationships. Drawing from her own experience and real world examples of how other artists have overcome challenges, Trudy will inspire you to ignite your career for success.
During this workshop you will:
- identify and create opportunities to show and sell your art
- learn how to secure a gallery to represent your work
- move through blocks that have been holding you back
- learn easy ways to build and/or enhance your online presence via your own website and/or social media (twitter, facebook)
- create an actionable plan to strengthen your artist career network so you have a team to work on your behalf - while you create your art!

ABOUT WORKSHOP LEADER TRUDY MONTGOMERY
Trudy Montgomery founded Blue Tangerine Art in 2005 as a way to express her passion for championing the work of emerging and mid-career artists. As an art advisor and artist, she has experienced both sides of the artworld.
As an art advisor, Trudy sources contemporary art from an international network of galleries, dealers and artists for private collectors, corporate and hospitality clients. As a curator, she has worked with dozens of artists in California and the UK, and seen hundreds of artists' resumes, biographies and websites. As a mentor to artists in the Blue Tangerine Art stable, she provides career guidance on dealer relationships, artist 'product' development, and networking opportunities.
Trudy began her own career as an artist in 2006, picking up a paint brush for the first time at age 35. Since then, she has created an authentic body of work and secured representation at galleries in Los Angeles, Palm Desert, and London.
