Description
The ICEE HOT crew cordially invites you to a very special one-off event featuring LEVON VINCENT!The Berlin-based and New York-bred artist is responsible (along with like-minded partners-in-crime DJ Qu, Fred P, and Jus-Ed) for heralding in a new era of New York House music. His sound is unpredictable and disorienting; it's music built for the darkest hours of the night and the sketchiest corners of the club. Vincent's tunes have been called intricate, inspired, and intoxicating, but his tracks honestly defy simple description. It's like deep house for techno lovers, or perhaps techno for deep house heads. Either way, the Oddjob Loft will be a perfect environment for the man do to his work. He's put out releases on Ostgut Ton, Ovum, Underground Quality, and more, but the bulk of his discography is found on his own Novel Sound and Deconstruct Music labels. He has also been tapped for the latest edition of the prestigious Fabric mix series, due out April 23rd.
And as always, the steady hands of your ICEE HOT residents SHAWN REYNALDO, GHOSTS ON TAPE, AND ROLLIE FINGERS will be there to ensure the vibes are set properly. Even better, Rollie will be getting some help from Brooklyn badman REM KOOLHAUS, one of the founders and residents of our NYC sister party, TURRBOTAX®. You won't want to miss their special B2B session.
Early arrival is encouraged as space is limited in the Oddjob Loft. Rave rain will definitely be in the forecast.
