Description
There are a lot of things that you need to know about the next edition of ICEE HOT. The first thing is that LOW LIMIT is the elusive 4th ICEE HOT resident and visionary flyer designer. LL is usually too busy traveling the world to get ICEE, but he is always there in spirit. The second thing is that LANDO KAL is an incredible DJ and producer, and during the last year, he has had a serious run of tunes on some of the best labels out there. The third thing is that these two together are LAZER SWORD; they are an amazing live act and have also just put together a brilliant new LP for Modeselektor's MONKEYTOWN label.So it seems only natural that we have the album release party here, in the city where LOW LIMIT and LANDO KAL started (they now live in LA and Berlin, respectively), with the WHOLE ICEE CREW!!!
Joining LAZER SWORD will be Detroit master DJ STINGRAY, an artist who has been putting out tunes under the names Urban Tribe, Mystic Tribe A.I., Drexcyian DJ Stingray and DJ Stingray for the last two decades. He has collaborated with the likes of Carl Craig, Kenny Dixon, Jr. and Anthony Shake Shakir, and in the last few years, he has released a slew of straight up DARK BANGERS. He is sure to come through and deliver a set of terrifying weirdness.
Also in the house are your regular ICEE budz, SHAWN REYNALDO, GHOSTS ON TAPE and ROLLIE FINGERS.
