San Francisco, CA - DSF Clothing Company & Art Gallery is proud to present our newest show "Ice Cream Girl" curated by Paint Pens In Purses, the all female urban art collective.

"Ice Cream Girl" is a collection of urban, contemporary, and low-brow artwork from the sweetest and coolest lady artists from coast to coast. Paint Pens in Purses is an all female urban art collective. It was originally started in 2008 and has since branched out to San Francisco from it's humble beginnings in Boston. The goal of Paint Pens in Purses is simply to create a community and to give recognition to artists they love. Paint Pens in Purses runs an online Featured Artist series, has created pop-up galleries, large scale murals, curated art shows on both coasts, and has been sponsored by Scion, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Sharpie, to name a few.

Artists include: Jessica Hess, Tofusquirrel, Allison Bamcat, Veronica Fish, Crystal Gonzalez, Amy Vazquez, Lauren Max, Chelsea Brown, Angeline King, Dayna Gilbert of MakeBigArt, and Shayna Yasuhara (CURATOR). Paint Pens in Purses will also be raffling off four 2 ft tall Ice Cream buddies created by Dayna Gilbert (MakeBigArt) and Shayna Yasuhara.
