Gisela Kroeger Hoffman was born in Germany, the third child of Hanna and Rudolf Kroeger, who came to America in 1953 and created one of the first health food stores in 1956.  Gisela and the whole family worked in the health food store and in the subsequent herb manufacturing company, church, and retreat center.  In 1968, Gisela graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA and MA in mathematics.  After many years of teaching mathematics and statistics, Gisela changed her career to computer science and became a database analyst and database designer.  When her parents died, Gisela took over the family businesses in 1998, and has brought about major stabilizing changes in all three: the herb manufacturing company (Kroeger Herb Products), the retail sales company (Hanna’s Herb Shop), and the training center and retreat (Peaceful Meadow Retreat).  Education remains her primary mission as she gives lectures and classes in both the US and Canada on the use of herbs and homeopathics.  As a minister of the Chapel of Miracles, she is deeply committed to the knowledge that we as human beings have a duty to help heal ourselves, our families, and our fellow man.   www.peacefulmeadowretreat.com
