At the October meeting of the Monterey Bay Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society, at 10 AM on Saturday, the twenty seventh of October, at the ProBuild Garden Center, 235 River Street, Santa Cruz, Mike McCullough will be conducting a program on growing rhododendrons from cuttings. At our program, you, using cutting material, peat moss, perlite, styrofoam cups, and plastic bags will create your own plant which should be blooming in approximately three to five years.Mike McCullough, a longtime member of the Monterey Bay Chapter will be bringing cutting material including Maddenii, Vireya, and other rhododendrons good for our area
At our meeting, you will be able to take home something which should have flowers in three or four years.
There is no charge for admission.
