Night Details:
6:00 PM: Doors open. Guests are welcome to imbibe on delicious Sierra Nevada beer ($4 suggested donation) or grab a cocktail at the bar. Silent auction bidding opens. DJ Such and Such spinning.

7:15 PM: A special presentation from 5 Gyres Institute founders, Marcus Eriksen and Anna Cummins will introduce you to the issue of plastic pollution and the work 5 Gyres has been doing around the world to protect ocean health.

7:45 PM: The headlining event, “How Plastic Is YOUR Ocean,” hosted by comedian Chris Fairbanks (Fuel TV, Last Comic Standing, Tru TV, http://chrisfairbanks.com/) will feature YOU - the audience - paired up with pro-athletes like snowboarder Chanelle Sladics (Oakley), and pro-surfers Mary Osborne (Patagonia, Maui Jim) and Bianca Valenti (2012 Pipeline Pro Champion) - with more to be announced - for a chance to win outdoor adventure gear and prizes.

9:30 PM: Silent auction closes and winners announced. Dance along as DJ Such and Such spins.

11:00 PM: Evening ends!
