Welcome to the first vol of Housepitality's Vinyl Masters Series. Paying due respect to the true and pure format of the dj craft, playing vinyl on Technics 1200's and a mixer. That is pretty much the point.

Carlos Souffront, Tasho and Tyrel WIlliams have all agreed to rock Housepitality together as a team under the condition of NO SET TIMES. You should be wondering right now, who is Carlos Souffront and how did these three get matched up to play in this format?

Carlos Souffront hails from Ann Arbor Michigan, 40 mins away from Detroit where many great music talents have come from. Matthew Dear, Recloose, the late Disco D, Mayer Hawthorne (yes, he used to go by Dj Haircut), Fanon Flowers, myself Miguel Solari and many others listened to Carlos Souffront rock the UM college airwaves at the legendary WCBN with the honorable techno producer and radio station director Brendan Gillen, aka Ectomorph of Interdimensional Transmissions. Carlos Souffront has been carefully collecting vinyl for longer than any of us and has paid his dues through leagues of Detroit gigs and unmeasurable live radio shows. Carlos is a DJ's DJ. His collection is as unique as it possibly gets. He recently moved to San Francisco and we are ridiculously excited to have him as part of this line up.

Tyrel and Tasho are two other very serious vinyl maestros themselves and make a great pairing for this concept. Through research we found out that Carlos also had mutual respect for these guys and basically all three wanted to play together, so we made it happen. Carlos took things to another level and agreed to do this under one condition, NO SET TIMES. This is a free flow 3 way dj set where these vinyl maestros will drive each other to go deeper and deeper into their stacks to pull out the true HEAT. (sizzle sound effect goes here).. yes ladies and gentlemen, this is the serious biz once again.. Its time to get deep at HOUSEPITALITY.
