Aging offers its own challenges, so join other seniors on the journey toward joy and fulfillment at Loss in Later Life support group. Led by a professional Hospice By The Bay counselor, the group offers support for coping with common losses: loss of independence and mobility, loss of memory and health, and the loss through death of loved ones. Multiple losses often bring up questions: How can I continue to find meaning in life? How can I stay connected so I don’t feel isolated or alone? What is most important to me as I grow older? Connect with other seniors facing similar struggles as we reflect on this phase of life.To register for this group, call (415) 526-5699. The fee for this group series is waived for family members of patients who received Hospice By The Bay’s care. Donations are gratefully accepted. For other community members, an eight-week group is $175, though a sliding scale fee is available for those who qualify.
