Local non-profit Hospice By The Bay hosts its annual San Francisco community SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE at 4 p.m., Sun., April 22, at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, 101 Gold Mine Drive.The memorial gathering honors the memory of loved ones who have died through a sharing of inspiring messages, music, ritual and prayer. The service is free and open to individuals, families and community members who are coping with the loss of a loved one. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. The service is followed by refreshments.
To honor a life remembered, they can also light a candle and display a photograph or an object of remembrance on a community altar. For information or to request to have one or more names read during the service, call (415) 626-5900, or e-mail hospiceinfo@hbtb.org.
Hospice By The Bay, which serves Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Sonoma counties, is dedicated to providing the highest quality of end-of-life care to patients and their families.
