Description
The man who helped bring us Dead Poets Society and March of the Penguins outlines a bold vision for America’s future: how artists, writers, photographers, filmmakers and other creative people can be engines for economic recovery – and inspire us all. Drawing on his experience producing hit films with creative individuals like Morgan Freeman, Julie Taymor, Robert Altman – and including tales of Hollywood and beyond – Leipzig will work to leave you passionate about the value of your own creativity, and the still-untapped potential of our nation.Adam is the former President of National Geographic Films, a past Senior Vice President at Walt Disney Studios, and a longtime film and theatre producer. He has also launched more than 300 theatre productions and performance events, written for the New York Times and other publications, designed and built four successful businesses, and consulted with dozens more. He currently serves as the Publisher and Managing Editor of the popular online magazine Cultural Weekly, which examines how our creative culture intersects media, money, technology and entertainment.
