Dazzling Events by Diana, Partners with Entertainment Nation to Host Private Hobbit-Inspired Tolkien Fan Parties
SAN JOSE, CA (November 20, 2012) – Dazzling Events by Diana , based in Palo Alto, CA, is partnered with Entertainment Nation, a national movie theater event company, to create private Tolkien fan parties at the Century 20 Oakridge Theater in San Jose. The parties start at 10 PM on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, prior to the first midnight screening of The Hobbit – An Unexpected Journey.
Based on discussions with Tolkien fans lamenting the likelihood of standing in long lines prior to the midnight screening, Dazzling Events by Diana and Entertainment Nation thought fans might enjoy being ushered into a private party at 10 PM offering Middle Earth-inspired food, drinks, and activities such as a costume contest, Tolkien trivia games, and “green screen” photos showing the image of a party-goer added to a simulated Hobbit-like background.
“People across the country are looking forward to this film not only because of their fondness for Tolkien’s book The Hobbit but to experience the new HFR3D technology. We felt the added option of attending a private party before the midnight screening would make the night truly magical.
