Hippocampus Wallpaper, works by Colin Frangicetto and Drew Roulette.We've been focused on the impermanent fragility of memory and emotion. When we simultaneously cross that with the relevance of disposable decorative objects, there is an interesting correlation that occurs. Just as what covers our walls can define the character of a room, our memories are what define our ideas of self and give us a sense of linear time. The memories that sit inside of our aging minds are a lot like the old wallpaper in a house that is faded, discolored and peeling off the surface.
