Description
HiLLBiLLY ROBOT returns for round two! The festival, we mean event, runs every weekend in February and features a variety of urban-flavored Americana; from classic country to alt-country to traditional bluegrass to outlaw bluegrass to raw-n-roll blues to indie-pop with hints of twang. This year's event welcomes the return of "Portland Invasion" (yeah!) and new show "Songs of '69: a Tribute to an Amazing Year in Music", plus popular festival mainstays; "Honky-Tonk Showdown", "Bluegrass Bonanza", "Americana Jukebox", and a CD release show! No matter what your listening pallet may be (city or country) we've got a little something for everyone. So break out your bestest overalls, spit-shine your boots, and head on down to Hillbilly Robot for some good old-fashioned downhome music.JON EMERY & THE DRY COUNTY DRINKS (Sacramento)
Dry County Drinkers is Sacramento Valley's Premier Honky-Tonk Band! Blending the Country Music Sounds of yesteryear with the parlance of our time. Jon Emery's song writing is influenced by the tongue in cheek lyrics of Jerry Reed and Hank Thompson while capturing the soul and sounds of mid-70's country like Johnny Paycheck and George Jones. The band have been nominated every year since 2010 as Outstanding Country/Americana Band by the local Sammies Committee and have released a handful of EPs and albums.

THE VIVANTS (Bay Area)
Largely inspired by the energy of old-time dance tunes, honky-tonk country, western-swing, bluegrass, and Cajun music, The Vivants play their own brand of American roots music -- original foot stompin' tunes about riots, hollers, and hopping train cars.
