Despite the fact that the members of Heavy Heavy Low Low admit they have never received any formal musical training, this San Jose-based screamo band has garnered a good-size underground following that hangs off every loud, chaotic, head-banging note. The San Jose-based band, which formed in 2004, mashes elements of metal, hardcore and emo. Since 2004, the five-member rock outfit has three albums, the most recent being “Turtle Nipple and the Toxic Shock.” According to the band’s MySpace site, they expect to release their new album “Hospital Bomber” later this year.
