Through their prolonged investigation and practical experience, both the contemplative traditions of Tibet and the hospice approach developed in the West have helpful insights to share with those facing their own death as well as those who are called upon to be of assistance to others who are dying. Participants in this weekend course will be introduced to many aspects of the dying process such as: becoming comfortable with impermanence, understanding the dissolutions at the time of death, creating a supportive environment, putting together a living will, and transforming death into a path of spiritual liberation.This course is suitable for those who care for the dying, as well as for those simply interested in preparing for their own death.
