Join us for a special hike on lands that are healing from the October 2017 Sonoma County fires.

Description
We'll experience the greening of the charred landscape and look for fire-follower flowers with experts from the Sonoma Ecology Center and Teri Shore, Greenbelt Alliance North Bay Field Director. This is a moderate hike of about 3-1/2 miles with an elevation gain of about 500 feet, lead by Teri Shore and Caitlin Cornwall.WEATHER POLICY:

WHERE TO MEET:
We'll assemble near the main parking lot for Sonoma Valley Regional Park.
LEADERS NOTE:
Bring water, lunch, dress in layers, and wear good hiking shoes. Bring poles if you normally use them. You may wish to bring binoculars. The walk will be on both paved paths and single track trails, so be prepared for mud. There is a $7 per vehicle park entrance fee.
