The 2012 Black History Month celebrations will continue into early March with the Harambee Fashion Show & Luncheon.
This event features a fashion show, live jazz and a presentation of local high school student scholarship winners.
Harambee (meaning, "a call to unity and collective work") is the annual signature scholarship event for the San Jose Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Over the years, the chapter has raised well over $150,000 in college scholarship monies for local high school students.
